Job Responsibilities Assist with monthly financial close activities. Assist with creation and parking of journal entries and the gathering of supporting documentation and
approvals. Assist with the reconciliation of monthly intercompany account imbalances using HFM and further research. Prepare or assist with preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations in Black Line, including attachment of all required supporting documentation; flag all variances and recommend corrective action.
Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits. Gather supporting documentation and upload to shared sites, as applicable. Prepare monthly SOX control documentation and maintain storage of these documents. Assist with entering new fixed assets and maintaining the accounting for them. Create monthly checklists and monthly file set-up for close-related activities.
Upload monthly results into HFM and complete all supplemental and roll forward schedules as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor degree in Accounting with 0-3+ years of exp. OR Associates degree with 5+ years exp. OR High School diploma with 8+ years exp. Ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of general ledger, debits/credits, balance sheets, assets/liabilities, bank reconciliations, inter - company reconciliations worldwide Accounting for corporate entities and holding companies Knowledge of foreign exchange, currency conversions Technical Skills: MS Excel; macros, pivot tables, advanced formulas.
