position are: Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) has developed the Northrop Grumman - Military Internship Program (Do D Skill Bridge) utilizing the Do DI guidance for Skill Bridge.
During this program the service member will be on-site at his or her host company performing an individual internship in an entry to mid-level career type role. The service member will be on the job training supporting a work schedule equivalent to 40hrs per week. Outlined below are the Goals, Objectives, and Outcomes for the program. Goals - Provide transitioning service members fellowship-style job skills training during the last portion(s) of their military commitment. This program is specifically designed to offer internships that result in the potential to transition to a full-time opportunity as the conclusion of the training.
Interns will serve as a pipeline for high-speed, motivated military candidates into NGC. Objectives - Service Members who complete the Intern program will be highly trained, capable, future employees that align to the specific needs of the organization and are prepared to meet the NG mission " Defining Possible" on Day 1. This program provides a comprehensive internship experience including professional development, networking with leadership, and training specifically focused on NG leadership principles, company history, customer/stakeholder engagement, product and service overview, and core job responsibilities.

Job Description The Planning Analyst/Scheduler is responsible for the implementation of standard processes and tools and program planning and control practices. This position will work within a team environment consisting of program management, technical, production, financial and other supporting staff. The ideal candidate will have strong teambuilding skills, exhibit strong leadership potential, and possess comprehensive verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Ensure major Projects and Programs Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Establish ground rules and assumptions and ensure compliance with applicable EVMS guidelines.
Engage with the Program Team to perform thorough project analysis showing knowledge and understanding of the program and the principles of EVMS and suggests/creates/implements work around to enhance cost and schedule performance. Perform risk analyses and identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts. Understand numerous facets of scheduling and contribute to the development of new scheduling concepts, techniques, and standards. Provide interface/support to program office, IPT leads/CAMs and less experienced schedulers to achieve program objectives.
Support new business proposal providing recommendations on schedule methodologies and proposal strategies and develop an IMP and IMS. Frequent use of industry scheduling best practices, and specific Scheduling Tool properties and functions Basic Qualifications for an Analyst level: Ability to participate in the Do D Skill Bridge Program Bachelor's degree with 6 years professional related experience -OR - a Master's degree with 4 years of professional related experience. Additional years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. 1 year of project scheduling experience using Microsoft Project or other related scheduling tool Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Power Point, Word.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time. US Citizenship Active Do D US Secret Security Clearance Preferred Qualifications for all levels: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field Expert proficiency in Microsoft Project or other related scheduling tools as demonstrated by an understanding of the tool's properties and functions, including exports and imports, multi-project consolidation, inter-project linkage, ability to create a variety of views, tables, filters, and reports.

Current Active US Top Secret clearance or higher Salary Range: $93,000 - $139,600 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
