care for patients and families served. Shift: 0600-1800 License /Certification Required: BLS Preferred: Current CA Certified Nursing Assistant certification Education Required: Current enrollment with completion of at least one semester in an accredited RN Program.

Concurrent enrollment throughout employment in a BRN approved Work Study Course through an affiliated school. The Student Nurse Aide (SNA) is responsible for having the college/university's student skills competency checklist available at all times while working as a SNA. School checklist duties may only be performed when school is in session and only after skills have been validated by the school of Nursing in conjunction

with the KH RN preceptor. PLEASE NOTE: Performance of skills and duties identified on the college/university skills checklist that are strictly prohibited include, but are not limited to the following: IV initiation and therapy, medication administration, obtaining and processing of physician orders, glucose monitoring, all Point of Care (POC) testing, and similar procedures.

The SNA may continuously perform (including non-instructional days) the following duties upon completion of Kaweah Health position/unit specific competencies. Reports any variance in the patient's condition, to licensed staff. Reports specific patient or family needs, concerns, and changes in activity to licensed staff.

Refers complaints and problems to licensed staff or department manager immediately. Answers patient call lights within two minutes as assigned. Greets patients and family members in friendly professional manner. Identifies self by name and job category. As assigned, assists patient with their needs. Is an active participant in achieving quality patient care. Maintains confidentiality with all patient care issues. Complies with current policies and procedures including safety and infection control. Performs tasks safely. Assists the Nursing staff in performing tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.

Provides for the toilet needs of patients by emptying bedpans and drainage container. Reports any variation in amount, color, consistency, and odor of output to the RN. Provides assistance with the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients. Orients patients to room (call light, storage of belongings, etc. ). Assists patients with meals, snacks, and with water pitchers. Assists with activities of daily living: bath, ambulation oral care, etc. Collects and records intake and output, weight, height, and vital signs as delegated by the Registered Nurse.

Collects respiratory rate by direct observation of the patient. Collects, labels, and delivers specimens. Provides post-mortem care and assists in transporting the body to the morgue. Assists with emergency care by participating in crash cart checks, providing cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, and responding to Code Blue. Handles the personal property of the patient with great care. Personal appearance shall reflect a well groomed, professional appearance as outlined in HR.107, Professional Appearance Guidelines. Watches with timing capabilities, i. e. seconds hand or stopwatch, are required uniform components.

Maintains a clean, safe, and neat patient environment. Must keep all required certifications current. Documents all care provided in the EMR as soon after the care occurs as possible. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area. Knowledgeable of growth and development for all patient/family cultural, linguistic, spiritual, gender, and age specific needs. you. A World of Difference. Made Possible. JOB SUMMARY: The F&K Unwind/Rewind technician is responsible for preparing paper rolls for printing and unloading printed rolls.

Duties include receiving, cutting, rolling, placing and loading/unloading rolls of paper weighing up to 3500 lbs on and off of press equipment with the use of roll pushers. Duties will also include removing core plugs and metal bands. The F&K technician may be required to perform other necessary tasks throughout the plant including cleaning, general housekeeping duties, painting, sorting, cup-by-cup, lid-by-lid or tasks of a clerical nature. All employees must follow all Graphic Packaging International work rules, code

of conduct and safety procedures and policies including wearing personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, hearing protection and safety goggles.

WORK DEVICES/TOOLSconsist of the following: utility knife, miscellaneous hand tools, pallet jacks, computer inks, mill rolls of paper weighing up to 3500 lbs. for printing, lubrication and grease for preventative maintenance, tape, writing utensils, roll pusher, alum-a-lift, torqueing bar, protective gloves, floor scrubber EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: 6 months' previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred Prior experience utilizing pallet jack -highly preferred Must be able to stand on concrete flooring for long periods of time with scheduled breaks Must be able to walk around machine/equipment frequently; surfaces are mostly concrete Must be able lift/carry weight approximately 35 lbs; the average distance carried is approximately 50 feet.

Lifts and dollies are available for transporting rolls of paper. Must be able to push the roll of paper utilizing push roller or alum-a-lift Must be able to climb a step ladder to change out the webbing. Must be able to bend slightly forward when loading paper into press. Must be able to kneel to perform cleaning/housekeeping tasks or to maneuver buckets.

Must have the ability to work in a high paced and multi-task environment Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision Overtime will be required as necessary including weekends.
