Why You Matter: As a Production Welder at Lantech, you will be a member of a team that skillfully fabricates the steel components of our Stretch wrappers. Production welders at Lantech are tasked with using their metalworking expertise to lay the foundation on which our machines are built.

Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do: MIG welding which will include loading and unloading fixtures for welding. Will include welding standard components. Includes welding of mild steel in order to fabricate the scale base fabrication.

Required to grind all surface welds at a level to not be seen after painting is complete. Will be running radial arm drill press and saw. Physical requirements include standing for 9.5 hours each day, manual dexterity to maneuver equipment for welding as well as lifting up to 50 lbs. Associate must be team oriented and able to backfill cells as needed. Must be willingly and able to work overtime as needed to complete projects and production deadlines. As

significant and visible programs. In addition, you will develop and execute NPI strategies in current state and for the future. What You'll Do Execute on key NPI initiatives.

Collaborate with key contacts across the US, Brazil, France and Thailand. Identify and find improvement opportunities that exist across each of the different processes and develop and execute strategies to resolve. Identify and define product problems and ensure resolution. Liaise between the product teams and the quality process teams. Identify product opportunities and technology enhancements which offer added value for the customer. Direct the activities of the NPI Team and established the scope of work

including costing and pricing, selecting, negotiating, and administering agreements.

Develop specific plans for program execution and monitors actual performance. Negotiate changes to programs including cost, price, supplier selection, etc. Direct changes required due to performance or reliability problems. Provide input into marketing strategies. Act as the NPI expert in supporting all project teams. Communicates effectively with diverse audiences, using appropriate media and language. Uses varying problem-solving approaches and techniques as appropriate. Identify and resolve gaps in customer expectations versus actual service levels. Evaluates risks and vulnerabilities and creates contingency plans.

What You Have ( basic qualifications ) A bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university. Extensive experience in product development for operations, quality, purchasing, engineering, or in a commercial capacity. Top Candidates Will Also Have (desired qualifications) Familiarity with construction equipment and construction industry. Familiarity with Caterpillar Earthmoving Division product lines, preferably Medium Tractor Products. Advanced degree from an accredited college or university. Ability and willingness to flex schedule for very early or very late meetings to best collaborate with global team.
