Hire Job Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily maintenance and repair operations to ensure efficient production of confectionery products while meeting quality, quantity, safety, and cost standards. power transmission components, and machine preventive maintenance.

Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints, machine drawings, electrical diagrams, and PLC programs to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to address employee matters empathetically and professionally. Forward-thinking mindset with the capability to strategize and formulate action plans for achieving desired outcomes. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrated through effective decision-making. Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, along with experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems like Oracle or SAP.

What You Will Do: As a Supply Chain Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the proposal, design, and implementation

of all related logistics processes, machinery and equipment, storage concepts, among other things for Cat Parts or Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) projects.

Initially, this position will be primarily focused on leading logistics engineering projects supporting the Lafayette Engine Center (LEC). The job duties of a Supply Chain Planning Engineer are to design and implement successful logistics solutions. To be successful, they must utilize technical skills as well as soft skills. The technical skills are defined in 7 key skills: data purification & analysis; warehouse storage design & manufacturing point-of-use (POU) design; machinery & equipment design and procurement; workforce & equipment planning; logistics process design; inventory transfer & rearrangement planning; and integrating supply chain knowledge into warehouse design.

In addition, it is expected that a Supply Chain Planning Engineer is knowledgeable about the local warehouse management system (WMS) and can integrate this into the overall design of the facility. A Supply Chain Planning Engineer is expected to be very proficient in all areas. In addition to technical skills, a Supply Chain Planning Engineer needs to demonstrate intermediate to fully skilled levels of the following values-based competencies (VBCs): integrity & trust; building inclusive relationships; customer focus; problem solving; priority setting; and dealing with uncertainty.

Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time.
