Wage Information: The salary range for this position is $67,725 to $86,600. The starting salary for this position will be between $67,725-$73,000. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications and education. Essential Responsibilities Conducting walk-throughs and backssing the safe and

efficient maintenance and operation of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment Ensure that all projects, routine maintenance, repairs, and replacement projects are completed in a timely fashion and according to applicable codes Obtain and present cost-effective proposals for maintaining or repairing all systems throughout the hotel Perform / Delegate guest response and preventive maintenance work orders as assigned Schedule work in accordance with preventive maintenance program in rooms and public space with all other departments to ensure limited guest impact Ensure that all Life Safety equipment and systems are inspected, tested, and certified per code and any applicable brand standards Assisting critical situations (fire, natural disasters, major mechanical malfunctions, etc) and performing duties as assigned Maintaining effective preventative maintenance and work order programs through the utilization of electronic systems ( PM Works, or brand specific programs) Organize / inventory materials, tools, and equipment to perform daily assignments Always maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area Maintain the proper use, cleaning, maintenance, and storage of all tools Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces in accordance with Safety Data Sheets Ensure key security program is in place and adhered to Continue to assist in writing / creating SOPs for the Engineering / Security as needed Understanding all computer systems such as but not limited to, Hotsos, Emaint by Fluke, Sova, Saflok, Keywatcher, Kinetic Global, BMS, ELSAFE, Lighting systems, Utility readings, and Cameras Assisting in employee conversations and building relationships with both Engineering and Security Assist with training / onboarding new and current staff Working hands on with staff to ensure they are doing things properly Assist in day to day operations from running standup meetings, attending meetings with or without clients, to covering for anything that would be needed in the event that the ADOE / DOE are not onsite Maintain property grounds Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred.

Higher level of training preferred. Ability to follow all safety procedures/standards are able to recognize and act in emergency situations. Experience: A minimum of 5 years building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred. Supervisor/Management experience preferred Interaction/Skill Set: Ability to be under and follow directions, and perform job functions with limited supervision.

Read, write, and speak English fluently. Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other colleagues. Work Environment Availability to work varying shifts to include overnight, evenings, weekends, and holidays. OSHA laws require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work duties that have the potential of risk to your health safety. Proper clothing and safety equipment (gloves, safety shoes, back belt etc. ) must be worn. Colleagues will be trained in the proper use and care of assigned PPE.

The hotel requires the required PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damages or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your supervisor/manager. Ideal Qualifications Include: Minimum of 10 years of structural design experience BS in Civil Engineering (with a structural emphasis) MS in Civil Engineering preferred (with a structural

emphasis) SE required Concrete, steel, and timber design experience Pile design and bulkhead wall experience Pre-stressed concrete and seismic design experience Familiarity with performance-based seismic design, non-linear push-over analysis, and soil-structure interaction analysis Knowledge of ASCE 61-14, AASHTO, IBC, ASCE-7, AISC, ACI, and NDS Proficiency in SAP2000, L-Pile, MS Excel, and VBA is preferred Ability to work dynamically with clients and project team members An interest in working on a wide variety of non-building related project types KPFF's Special Projects Seattle office, located in the retail core of downtown Seattle, WA, is part of a dynamic 120+ person group that
