Timken Aurora Bearing Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic that will p erform a variety of functions to maintain and repair equipment, and our building and grounds while adhering to the safety, quality and productivity standards of Timken Aurora Bearing Company.

Job Functions & Responsibilities: Perform all duties as assigned in a safe and efficient manner with an emphasis on quality. Follow Company and departmental procedures, including regular attendance and punctuality. Follow all safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition. Report any unusual conditions or situations to Lead Person or Supervisor. Work with other maintenance personnel to trouble shoot, repair,

rebuild, install, move, modify and fabricate equipment system fixtures and processes.

Follow verbal and/or written instructions including but not limited to; service, parts maintenance, manuals, exploding view, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical drawings and work orders. Perform basic carpentry layout, fabrication, welding, plumbing, piping, wiring, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, painting, measuring machinery and electrical. Experience with 480 voltage a plus. Apply communication skills to relay information to others regarding job assignments, and training skills to train others inside and outside the department. Request purchase requisitions for repair parts.

Keep departmental records as assigned. Responsible for portions of department inventory, work with outside vendors in person or by phone. Work with Supervisor, Lead Person or operator of other departments in order to analyze equipment problems. Adhere to all lockout/tagout procedures and recognize the 5 forms of energy and how to control them. Maintain facility requirements and work with outside service people as required. Minimum Requirments: High School Diploma or GED (validation is required) Previous experience in manufacturing environment as maintenance mechanic (minimum 1 year experience, preferred to have three years of experience).

Experience with 480 voltage a plus. Troubleshooting CNC experience preferred. Ability to stand and walk 8 hours per day. Forklift and scissor lift experience preferred but will train. General HVAC knowledge a plus. This role is also responsible for maintaining accurate production, maintenance and cleaning records for all scheduled activities; this includes activities related to maintaining the facilities SQF3

status. Primary responsibilities include batching materials for production runs, operating production equipment and executing daily clean-up/sanitization procedures.

Core Functions: Production workincludes daily product set up and packing as well as cleaning of all equipment and facilities in support of sales and R&D initiatives. Routine equipment maintenanceconsists of troubleshooting and performing basic repairs and calibration activities on all pilot plant equipment. Must be able to effectively communicate problems and work closely with maintenance mechanics to achieve timely repairs of essential equipment. Must keep accurate written and electronic batch records of all experiments.

Responsible for implementing blending recipes to meet required specifications.

Performs daily operation and maintenance on crystallizer, deodorizer, and other equipment. Must be willing to learn and become proficient in bleaching, interesterification and deodorization of fats and oils and crystallization. Food safety and quality. Expected to follow company quality systems, including SQF3, and implement food safety in the processing of samples to customers in support of the product development program by blending oils, performing physical and chemical modifications, and analyzing the results. Food Safety and Quality - Follow company Quality Systems and implement Food Safety in while batching materials for production runs, operating production equipment and executing daily clean-up/sanitization procedures.

Skills/Experience Requirements: Two years Technical or associate degree in science, engineering, culinary, or related field.2-5 years of industry experience. Strong technical and/or mechanical background Valid driver's license Experience with driving truck lift Good in using English for speaking, writing, and communication. Experience working with Outlook and SAP is preferred. Requires the ability to stand, stoop, lift, and/or carry heavy objects up to fifty (50) pounds unassisted.

This position requires a high level of interaction with operations management and fleet drivers to ensure success. Responsible for maintenance and facilitation of driver qualifications, training,

drug and alcohol program, ELD/HOS, on board cameras, and other safety programs as outlined in company policies and procedures.

Ensure carrier is compliant with all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA and other state and federal regulations and guidelines. Ownership of all safety and regulatory programs and goals for the Region. Maintenance of driver qualification files and records to including, CDL, Physical, MVR, PSP and Hazmat. Manage Federal Drug and Alcohol Testing/Program. Track driver log exception processing and on point-of-contact for compliance. Provides oversight on DOT inspections and citation processing to ensure compliance. Identify processes that are potential compliance issues and work with internal management to provide corrective actions.

Track accidents and injuries identify trends and create programs and solutions for prevention. Serve as point of contact with clients regarding safety. Keep current on any changes to regulatory requirements and informs management accordingly. Communicate with drivers regarding core safety principles and accident avoidance both in the workplace and over the road. Responsible for operational contributions to maximize profitability, cost control and overall improve efficiencies. Identify, evaluate and build new business opportunities; provide guidance on operational changes required to support these opportunities.

Protects company assets and confidential information in accordance with company policies and procedures. Including, but not limited to, candidates, team members and proprietary company information. Competencies: Superior verbal and written communication skills with people at all levels. Interpersonal skills. Proficient knowledge of computer software and typical industry production software.
