Perform shot sleeve, ladle, bushings, knockout bars, die clamps, plunger tip, and other setup tooling inventories Per tooling schedule, pull dies to provide to Tool Room personnel for preparation for set up Wash dies coming from Production before being placed into Tool Room for repair and/or maintenance Ensure all related components have been correctly identified and placed with die prior to being provided to Production for set-up.
Keep die storage area neat and organized
Clean, maintain, and evaluate shot sleeves Inform tool room manager/engineer of sleeves that need to be reworked or replaced Prepare dies and die components for shipment Participate in meetings, offer opinions and support to other departments as needed
