To date, more than 2,500 72.5k V Dry Air VCB's have been delivered all over the world including more than 1,000 units to our North American customers.

Another milestone in Meidensha's innovative product development was achieved with the introduction of the world's first 145 k V Dry Air Insulated Dead Tank VCB (Dry Air VCB) in late 2021. This position will provide comprehensive sourcing and procurement support to the Supply Chain Manager and other site leadership team members. This position will be accountable to support the supplier strategy and sourcing efforts on current supply base, existing and new product, and design changes.

Key metrics include but are not limited to: Supplier on time delivery. Achievement of cost reduction goals. On time to source new components Item master set up in SAP. PO creation and alignment with accounts payable to assure suppliers get paid on time, Engineering changes tracking. Supporting the sourcing organization in meeting their goals for supply chain excellence Heavy collaboration with

internal customer and external communities, including Vendors, Manufacturing, Engineering, Service, Sales, and Quality Assurance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Full item master setup in SAP Support cost reduction initiatives to decrease bill of material cost through such activities as research, analysis and negotiation. Identify and drive cost reduction projects to support our cost initiatives. Ability to navigate complexity. Support the manager in supplier management through a balance of cost, quality and delivery. Support New Product introduction within our Sourcing organization. Focus on supplier capacity improvement to support on time delivery.

Other duties as directed by the Supply Chain Manager and other site leadership team members. Position will report to the Supply Chain Manager in Gray Court, SC and collaborate with other global sourcing team members located in various locations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Self-starter with the ability to adapt interpersonal styles and techniques to influence at all levels of the organization and external customers. Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, establish trust and credibility, and act with complete integrity.

Detail-oriented, tenacious, resourceful, and diligent. Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities. Sound judgment and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, engineering, or equivalent experience Minimum 1-3 years' experience in manufacturing (Engineered to Order preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Applications, especially Excel Strong knowledge or understanding of ERP system (i. e. SAP) Experience with research, analysis, and negotiation Procurement of engineered components Meiden America Switchgear, Inc.
