Top 100 Large Employer in 2022! Waldo County Hospital has an immediate need for a per diem Patient Register our Admitting Department care team. The Patient Register is responsible for registering Inpatient, Outpatient, and Emergency Department patients as needed.
Responsible for multiple quality assurance functions, maintaining the accuracy and confidentiality of patient information, and flow of patients and their information. Responsibilities Obtains signatures, verifies identification and insurance eligibility, obtains copies of insurance cards and completes forms as required by state and federal regulations. Admits patients and transfers appropriate paperwork. Involves interactions
with doctors, nurses and other hospital personnel that requires strict patient confidentiality.
Assists patients with handling clerical problems and resolving any issues such as adding new insurance information. Hospital will provide extensive on-the-job training regarding our policies and procedures and knowledge of basic medical terminology will be trained. Good interpersonal skills are essential, as well as empathy for people in crisis. This person should be able to handle multiple tasks at once, prioritize work and manage interruptions easily. Position Summary To receive patients and visitors in the Central Registration office and obtain all necessary information and signatures related to the admission process in order to expedite the processing and collection of their patient account.
To project a knowing and compassionate attitude to the patients and visitors at all times. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Limpia detalles de los baños y repone sus insumos. Ordena las mesas y sillas del patio de comidas Limpia las mesas y sillas después de cada cliente. Coloca las bandejas en las áreas designadas. En algunos lugares, lava las bandejas utilizando equipos para el lavado de bandejas comerciales o a mano en sumideros de 3 compartimentos.
Vacía los cubos de basura de las áreas comunes en grandes carros con ruedas y transporta la basura al área de compactación de basura designada. Carga y opera la maquinaria de compactación de basura.
