Surgical technologists are part of the surgical team and work under the supervision of registered nurse or operating manager. Pay ranges from $32-$37 an hour! Essential Functions: Prepare and organize the operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies as required for various surgical procedures.

Anticipate surgeon and patient needs during a procedure. Take care of specimens, prepare, check, and monitor medications, and assist with dressings. and/or tables for procedure. Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines. Participate in orientation and education of all operating room staff on an ongoing basis.

Participate in stocking and restocking medical supplies. Inspect, replace, and sterilize medical instruments. Provide surgeons and patients with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment. Completes other assignments as requested and assigned. May have access to personal health information (PHI) necessary to fulfill the above duties and responsibilities. Assist the Site Focal with emergency training for " floor wardens" Participate in Fire and Life Safety systems testing, to include month end testing, scheduled weekly and daily testing, acceptance testing, for new systems andtesting of repaired or upgraded systems to ensure that they function to meet thedesign specification and are code compliant. Assist in investigations of safety and fire incidents and prepare USIR reports after each incident. Assist in Fire and Life Safety training for new security officers. Prepare and submit reports on results of the various inspections and tests asrequired.

Assist in coordinating and conducting Emergency Evacuation/Shelter-In-Place Emergency & Fire Safety Plan. Perform such other duties as required by the site focal. Verify all auxiliary equipment is set up correctly (Blender, grinder, robot, automation cell, belt conveyor, etc) Verify the press and area surrounding are clean to the 5s standard. Perform daily process and product quality checks Responsible to complete tool change sheets. Maintaining the IMM process log. Work with the Quality department to improve process control. Trouble-shoot processing problems; including normal adjustments and checks. Responsible to assure scrap issues are addressed and fixed in a timely manner. Responsible for monitoring Maintenance Technician mold change program loading and set-ups, as well as Operator inspecting and verifying the first shot checks to assure proper methods were followed to produce a quality part. Assist the Production Supervisors in training of the associates for line operation and monitoring what the associates will be required to complete as part of the process controls. Systematically check all variables to insure best possible

balance of quality and quantity under specific prevailing conditions.

Supervise the adhesive spray, vacuum forming, and injection molding process to ensure proper controls are being maintained. Schedule both routine and preventative maintenance of the equipment to have the least possible adverse effect on production schedules. Analyze operations for possible improvements in methods, procedures, or design. Recommend such improvements to the ME. Run all Design of Experiments (DOEs) and launch samples. Other duties and tasks as assigned by your manager/supervisor. Required Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent Area of Study: Emphasis on mathematics, and mechanical or similar.

Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions. Required Qualifications:3-5 Minimum Years of Experience completing mold changes. 1 -3 Minimum Years of Experience as plastic process technician. 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
