Archive Manager is responsible for establishing and implementing procedures to digitize, archive, and maintain final design-related record drawings across all of the Capital Delivery Department while ensuring compliance with corporate document safety and security requirements within a multi-discipline design document library.
The Design Review Manager is part of the overall Design Management Team within the Planning and Engineering Support group under Capital Delivery (Cap D). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage the design document library across multiple disciplines (track, communications & signals, electric traction, and structures) and establish rules and requirements for archiving and retrieving
archived documents. Position works closely with many internal groups within Capital Delivery and other Departments such as Real Estate and Amtrak Police.
Assist with and make recommendations to document management teams to ensure the appropriate processes for archiving and data security are applied to all design documents. Work with Digital Technology Department for system testing and integration of Engineering Archives to better support Design Review and Cap D management teams on current and future projects. Report technical document management metrics to senior leadership. Oversee, lead, and mentor junior-level staff to help them grow within Amtrak and the railroad industry.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Strong technical knowledge of engineering practices and document control. Ability to learn and train new systems and provide subject matter expertise. Aide I: $18.83/hour Aide II: $18.99/hour Please Note: Aide positions can be from 10-24.9 hours per week and can fluctuate based upon student attendance/needs. II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: A. Assist professional staff with activities related to the delivery of instruction, supervision, and physical care of students.
B. Perform clerical, record keeping, and instructional support duties as required by the teacher or support professional. C. Carry out instructional, technical, behavioral, or therapeutic activities as prescribed and supervised by the teacher or support professional. D. Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher or support professional and approved by the Program Supervisor.
III. QUALIFICATIONS: A. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. C.
