Assist with the development and management of standardized quality assurance documentation for projects and tasks to include quality metrics. Ensures documentation complies with software development standards, policies, and procedures or best practices. Conducts backssments and evaluations through analysis and interpretation of objective and subjective evidence to verify compliance with standards and applicable quality plans. Determines level of process and product quality. Reports findings; and escalates unresolved issues to the appropriate level. Evaluate work products to backss quality and report findings.

Researches alternative solutions to problems determine proper approaches and make verbal and/or written recommendations to the CPUC and its stakeholders Communicates analysis findings to the appropriate level s verbally and through the preparation of periodic written reports. Participates in special projects, external audits, and process improvements in support of quality assurance initiatives. Interview State project and project contractor(s) staff to collect project information and data, understand project activities and gain project insights Provide technical and subject matter expertise Manage and mentor team of quality analysts Participate in the analysis of project information and data collected Manage the development of required project deliverables to include weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as well as reports required by federal funding partners in compliance with contract requirements Lead/support required meetings and conference calls.

7-10 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience A m inimum of 5-7 years performing quality assurance or IV&V for large systems projects A minimum of five (5) years of experience within the past ten (10) years in a leadership role, working directly with stakeholders to analyze operations and business processes, including developing QA procedures and process documentation. A minimum of five ( 5 ) years of experience within the past ten (10) years, leading teams of 3 people or greater on projects that involved statewide and regional programs.

Recent project experience with a public sector agency working with vulnerable populations Must thoroughly understand problem-solving and quality improvement techniques. Ability to interpret and relate Quality standards for implementation and review. Experience with the principles of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®). Ability to interface with executive sponsors, IT resources, management teams, and stakeholders on a regular basis to interview and gather information and data to support analysis.

The Role: The Quality Assurance Engineer will perform quality engineering activities and be responsible for all aspects of identifying, analyzing, and communicating findings on defective products, as well as supporting root cause analysis and implementation of countermeasures and solutions. Support and implement a customer complaint process including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Provide onsite technical support, investigate and troubleshoot product or quality production issues to determine root causes, corrective actions and communicate findings. Worth Locomotive plant (TXL). For our Prep to Ship and Paint areas, this role will inspect completed locomotives prior to shipment, interact with customer inspectors, drive resolution of quality problems, ensure compliance with Quality Management System procedures, and lead continuous improvement projects. In short, he/she will ensure and improve the overall quality of processes and products manufactured in their own area,

and ensure that locomotives are ready to ship. What will your typical day look like?

For assigned area(s): Provide leadership as the main quality interface with Manufacturing, Engineering, Services, and other functions Inspect locomotives prior to shipment, documents defects and communicate with base shops to ensure timely resolution Key interface with customer inspectors. Provide support during customer inspections, ensure timely resolution of customer-identified defects, engage other Wabtec resources as needed Lead root cause investigations of quality issues and containments of quality escapes; issue Quality Alerts and keep all stakeholders informed on progress and resolution Define, implement, and manage Quality Inspection Plans and other quality processes to meet customer quality expectations, internal quality expectations, and financial and contractual commitments Define, monitor, and improve quality metrics (Infancy F/LY, Unscheduled F/LY, MMBTF, DPU, NCMRs, CARs, Audits, Gage Calibration, Manufacturing Losses, etc.

) Work closely with area team to set goals and drive continuous improvement activities; mentor Quality Star Points and teaming quality projects Lead quality culture improvement inside own area and across areas. Work with the Quality Manager and other QTAs to promote a customer-focused " one team" approach to quality Continuously develop product and process knowledge, become a product and process expert Own process compliance: understand applicable Quality Management System documents, perform quality audits to ensure consistent adherence to procedures and processes, and drive CARs and improvement plans to address non-conformances Lead Manufacturing PPAPs and FAIs for significant process changes What do we want to know about you?

Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience) Due to the production and process supervisory nature of this role, it is not available for remote work.
