configuration, administration, operation, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation of classified and unclassified MDDC Program systems and networks and associated equipment, devices, and software IAW applicable MDA and Do D guidance, instructions, procedures, and processes.

Ensures IT systems are fully functional for all operational and support activities hosted and serviced by the MDDC Program. Provides essential Linux system administration support for hardware in support of the MDDC Program for classified and unclassified systems. Ability to work with existing Linux installations as well as build new systems. Work with vendors in support of current Linux based software

installations and keep up systems in compliance. Works closely with Program Management, Information Assurance, software development, analysis groups, and end-users to understand and implement requirements necessary to MDDC Program operations and activities.

Provides guidance and support with technical expertise, instruction, and advice in relation to MDDC Program IT processes and operations based on applicable MDA and Do D security provisions, technical guidance and documented instructions to meet all MDA and customer goals. Anticipates IT related issues and implements proactive preventive measures. Develops, sustains, and updates documentation for Information Technology processes and

procedures. Performs regular and on-demand system backups and recoveries.

Maintains IT databases and performs light programming tasks in relation to system administration needs. Researches, evaluates, and recommends new and emerging IT systems technologies to advance and support MDDC Program requirements. Leads, trains, and supports the work of other junior staff engaged in system administration functions. Assists with Government Furnished Equipment/Government Furnished Property (GFE/GFP) contract hardware/software maintenance, repairs, and processes. Responsible for maintaining inventory and organization of different types of software and hardware resources.

IA certification IAW Do D Instruction 8570.01 M required. #dice Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other technical discipline Fifteen (15) years + of experience. An additional four (4) years experience may be substituted for degree This position requires Do D 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification. Working knowledge of a wide range of datacenter technologies including: Linux Administration, Local (LAN) and wide-area networks (WAN); Network protocols such as TCP/IP, WINS, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, FTP, HTTP, SMTP, SMB etc. Proven ability to multi-task and operate in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Excellent organizational skills Proficient in RHEL and Cent OS Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and solid data entry skills Ability to provide examples of being proactive and taking initiative in carrying out daily responsibilities Ability to interact with all levels of our customer base and provide excellent customer responsiveness Knowledge of MDA Test Activities Preferred Must have a current, active Secret clearance OR the ability to obtain a Secret clearance (US Citizenship Required) before employment can start.

Job Summary The Information Assurance Specialist will be responsible for the planning of information security and coordination of various privacy policies, compliance artifacts and standards supporting Do D RMF framework. The Specialist will assist with the day-to-day interpretation,

implementation, enforcement, and execution of the NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) while administering the documentation, testing, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to ensure systems meet security and privacy RMF requirements IAW the DCSA backssment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM).

Conduct formal backssment and authorization documentation and testing for accredited systems in accordance with all Do D security requirements. Candidate must possess an in-depth knowledge of applicable U. S. government security regulations. Candidate will be on call to respond to emergencies 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Work Model This position will be a hybrid work model and offer partially

remote that is contigent upon onsite operations in Huntsville, AL.

What You’ll Be Doing Provide support regarding Do D RMF backssment and authorization (A&A) processes and matters Maintains information and data regarding end-user issues within the tracking system and according to policies and standards Perform vulnerability scans, conduct risk backssments, and implementation of vulnerability backssments Reviews, develops, and implements security plans for computer assets Experience in running Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) or Nessus, compliance and hardening tools on systems, to provide risk input to the necessary reporting agencies Coordinates and performs information security inspections, tests, and reviews Supports the implementation and development of the organizations' IT security program Ensures security policies, standards and procedures are established and enforced Trains and briefs employees on the IS systems accesses and processes.

Ensures users have appropriate security clearance and access to information Verify that applicable security measures identified by the IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM) program are applied Understand classification management, classified document control, and classified media control Submit and track accreditation packages, to include annual reviews of accredited networks/systems Knowledge of techniques to perform clearing, purging, declassifying, and releasing of system memory, media, and output Conduct evaluation and analysis of software/hardware intended for use on the secured IT assets Conducts hardware and software implementations Investigates and reports IS security incidents.
