Responsibilities: As our Senior Atlassian Administrator, you'll be responsible for: ·Managing, configuring and optimizing our Jira and Confluence instances, including user management, access controls, project setup and overall configuration ·Implementing and managing essential plugins, including but not limited to Service Desk and Microsoft O365 ·Organizing an advisory group comprised of key stakeholders to prioritize improvements.
Updates, upgrades and new features ·Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the University to customize workflows and permissions ·Configuring and maintaining dashboards, reports, and filters that provide meaningful insights and analytics to stakeholders ·Conducting system audits, troubleshooting, monitoring performance and managing events within the system ·Coordinating and executing upgrades, patches and add-on installations to ensure alignment with University and industry best practices ·Providing user training, workshops, and support for the user community ·Integrating Atlassian tools with other systems ·Staying up-to-date with the latest features and best practices, and proactively proposing improvements and optimizations to our environment ·Providing regular updates and information-sharing with stakeholders on Atlassian features and best practices Qualifications: We're looking for candidates with: ·A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) ·At least 3 years of relevant work experience ·Proven experience as an Atlassian Administrator ·Strong knowledge of Atlassian software products ·Proficiency in configuring and customizing Atlassian applications ·Familiarity with software integrations ·Excellent problem-solving and communication skills ·Scripting and automation experience is a plus ·Atlassian certification(s) is a plus How to Apply: If this opportunity aligns with your skills and values, please apply through our job board [Link: UVA Job Board search R0053617].
