Must be able to perform all duties and responsibilities of " Material Handler" as follows: o Understands and views production schedules, shipping work bench, in-house variety operations or 3rd partyrequirements to assigns activities to be meet customer expectations.

o Everything is directed, so this is not required in today's WMS directed world. o Partial picking or pallet picking orders on pallets slip sheets, or floor loading of trailers. o Label pallets and / or provide customer specific shipping requirements before loading to trailer. o Opens bales, crates, and other containers as necessary. o Complies with company policies for received goods. o Weighs or counts materials

management items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance tocompany standards.

o Capable of enter transactions into telnet, Oracle or personal computers. o Ability to safely operate a variety of power industrial vehicles. o Ability to arrange multiple ship methods (LTL, parcel, etc. ). o Loads and unloads trailers of palletized and non-palletized product. Utilizes manual and automatedmaterial handling equipment. o Prepares and takes a physical inventory of all merchandise; records counts on inventory sheets. Capable ofutilizing the Oracle WMS cycle counting program if rolled out at the facility. In conjunction with the Warehouse leaders assigns job duties (receiving, storage, picking, loading, serving, andmanufacturing) to warehouse crew, coordinates rotation and/or relief of specific positions, may also relievespecific positions as needed.

In conjunction with the Warehouse leaders, monitors work flow of warehouse crew personnel throughout theshift. Assigns and reassigns jobs as necessary. Assigns task, releases orders, releases replenishments, picks confirm orders and dispatches orders using Oracle WMS system. Follows company protocol for dispatching orders to drivers. Receives materials in the Purchase Order system. Starts up, reboots, and trouble shoots minor issues with scanner system.

Works across departments to resolve issues. Trains new employees in Warehousing/Receiving practices. Maintains warehouse business during leader's absence. Follows Leader Standard Work activities. Adheres to and is a leader in all regulatory issues (OSHA, FDA, DOT, EPA, etc. ). Practices and adheres to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping andpersonal protection; keeps work area clean; stores supplies in designated areas; keeps work area aisles/exitsclear and free from obstructions; removes trash from work area floor; follows instructions for safelifting/carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights; identifies/reports defective equipment; reportsall job-related injuries to supervision.

May be required to cover vacations for other leaders, etc. May perform other duties as required. Works from Electronic order system or order sheets to build loads using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack. Position is responsible for accuracy in loading and complying with shipper/receiver documentation. Follows warehouse instructions in building loads ().

Employees must maintain a clean and safe work environment. Position may be required to work across a wide variety of weather conditions and hours, shift duration depends on work load and may vary daily. Transport truck loading involves moving full pallets of products from the warehouse onto a trailer and removing any returned pallets/plastic flats. Responsible for unloading raw materials and placing them in designated warehouse

space. Bulk truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors of products from the warehouse and loading them onto a pallet. Position is responsible for maintaining the stability of the pallet through proper stacking and shrink-wrapping.

In most cases, pallets are loaded onto a trailer for local delivery. Position is responsible for unloading returned products and pallets/plastic flats. Route truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors or pallets of products from the warehouse and loading them into the truck. Product/packages for each truck are customized based on the salespersons order. Position is responsible for unloading returned products and pallets/plastic

flats. Position requires lifting a very high volume of cases of product per day from 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly during a long work period.

Requires constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting reaching and grasping as product is moved. Transport truck loading involves moving full pallets of products from the warehouse onto a trailer and removing any returned pallets/plastic flats. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide guidance and training in all warehouse functional areas, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, cycle counting, and material handling. To include, but not limited to, equipment, software, and company policies and procedures.

Process transactions utilizing RF technology and/or by identifying items on a paper pick ticket according to bin location, part number, and/or description, or other method used within facility. Ensure all materials are packed properly. Audit incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy. Operate powered and manual material handling equipment in order to pick orders and/or receive stock. Use forklift to load and unload pipe and other

materials. Coordinate with Customer Service and Fabrication (in joint facilities) on a minimum daily basis to ensure the highest level of customer service and on-time delivery are maintained.

Assure that the highest standards are maintained for safety, housekeeping, and compliance with all government and company standards. Lead continuous improvement projects as assigned by manager. Work with the manager to troubleshoot all receiving and shipping complaints to find the cause, help resolve the issue, and prevent reoccurrence. Utilize Varsity system or similar software to accurately ship packed materials and utilize rate shopping software (Ratelinx) for LTL shipments. Coordinate transportation

logistics, including Viking truck deliveries and driver schedules.

Manage warehouse resources, shipping supplies and other consumables, including minor facility maintenance. Utilize current operating system (JD Edwards) in inquiries for shipping, receiving, and back order filling functions. Lift boxes of material to and from locations for shipping and receiving processes and procedures. Operate banding equipment to ready pipe bundles for shipment when required. Follow all company policies and procedures. Provide coverage of additional assigned responsibilities in manager's absence. Handle additional tasks necessary to fulfill the needs of the company and the customer as deemed by the manager.
