Must climb and work from ladders, platforms, and scaffolding to reach parts of systems such as fans, air handling units, water lines, duct work, etc. Work requires stooping, bending, stretching, kneeling, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed inside, outside, on rooftops, under buildings, and often in cramped areas. Is exposed to gas, smoke, dust, high temperatures, electrical shock, scalding water, and burns from flashes and contact with equipment. May be exposed to asbestos dust while working in and around warm air furnaces, air handlers, boilers, and associated equipment. Wears protective clothing and devices such as goggles, respirators, coveralls, safety shoes, and safety glasses.

Work involves exposure to noise levels above 85d B(A), but below 110d B(A), which are reduced by use of hearing protective devices.
