Must exhibit the safe and proper use of hand and power tools and supervise the use of same by youth assigned to the Youth Build program. Must exhibit the characteristics necessary to
lead trainee crews and supervise center work projects both on and off campus from start up through to completion. Must pass pre-employment criminal history check Must pass a drug screen SPECIFIC DUTIES: Must possess and demonstrate the ability to Supervise/work all phases of construction.
Make accurate cost projections for each individual project Maintain accurate schedules of construction activities Examine blueprints to determine dimensions of structure Inspect work to ensure conformance to specifications Assist in the transportation of the work crew from the Center to the job site. Maintain accurate cost records associated with each individual structure and coinciding purchase orders
Generate payroll Maintain accurate paperwork pertaining to the Youth Build trainees.

The ability to lead trainee crews and supervise the Center work projects both on and off campus from start up to the completion of projects. SPECIFIC DUTIES: The ability to examine blueprints to determine
dimensions of structure. The ability to determine sequence of activities concerned with fabrication, assembly and erection of the structure. The ability to assign and supervise trainees to such tasks as cutting metal to size, building forms, erecting framework, roofing, wiring and pipe installation.
The ability to inspect work to insure conformance to specifications. The ability to assist in the transportation of the work crew to the job site. The ability to perform other duties as assigned.
