Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Product Verification & Validation Engineer for John Deere Des Moines Works located in Ames, IA , you will: Coordinate and execute Vision (Test Planning & Tracking Software) activities with experimental shop technicians.
Collect, analyze, and present test data to support engineering decisions. Create and/or refine standardized test procedures as new technologies or improved methods are developed. Interact with design teams and other stakeholders to diagnose technical issues and proactively remove roadblocks, in support of machine validation activities. of engineering principles with the ability to independently apply the knowledge.
1 or more years of Product Verification & Validation or Product Engineering Experience. 1 or more years of experience with data acquisition tools and methods (e. g. e DAQ, MTG/MGDL, or similar). Fundamental understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. What Makes You Stand Out Experience working with PV&V systems Vision and NCCA. Technical experience relating to design/diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems. 1 or more years of experience with test instrumentation including accelerometers, pressure transducers and strain gages. Experience working with CAN communication.
