Your Responsibilities As a Staff Engineer, Electronic Control Unit Hardware Integration for JD Waterloo Product Engineering Center located in Waterloo, IA, you will: Determine electrical interface requirements for new engine controllers and present to design teams for implementation. Provide technical expertise to hardware and software teams related to engine component technology selection, electrical control strategy, electrical interfaces, driver selection, cost,
and functionality tradeoffs. Write guidelines for application of engine controller, including physical, electrical, and environmental application requirements.
Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support to other teams within Deere, such as engine test cells, DTAC, continuous improvement teams, and vehicle electronics teams.
