How You’ll Help Us Connect the World. As a Test Engineer Intern, you will work with Development Engineers to fulfill test requests and relay test results, and provide recommendations to Product Engineers regarding test statuses and updates. You will work closely
with Engineers and Engineering Technicians to understand test methods, industry standards, and test platforms to conduct data acquisition. This internship is with our Connectivity & Cable Solutions (CCS) business unit and is based in Claremont, NC.
You Will Make an Impact By. As a Test Engineering Intern will be tasked to participate in the verification and validation testing of copper cable and connectivity components within a test laboratory. Here, you will work alongside Test Engineers and Engineering Technicians to understand test methods, industry standards, and test platforms to conduct data acquisition. Activities consist of mechanical, environmental, electrical, and transmission
tests that are conducted to characterize products against industry and internal standards.
Compile test reports to summarize test results which will be distributed to internal test requestors to drive business decisions.
