Responsibilities Perform equipment analyses using CFD or FEA software to produce equipment design calculations, as well as perform reviews of analyses and other submittals prepared by equipment vendors.
Resolve technical issues related to the equipment design and discuss them with other disciplines, groups, suppliers and the customer. Interface and coordinate with other engineering disciplines in the development of the design. Support the production of the equipment drawings. This may be performed as an individual contributor or leading other engineers. Prepare reports and studies in resolving open technical issues related to the equipment design. Qualifications and Skills Basic Qualifications Level One: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum of 9 years of experience. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), work well with others, and is flexible. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (i. e. Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. ). Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
