Assisting the ER clinicians with providing instruction and demonstration of emergency medicine skills to veterinary students, interns, and residents in a clinical setting. Assist students with accomplishing the necessary student learning objectives Develop professional relationships with the CSR team to aid in providing outstanding customer service to all ER clients Enter charges for all triage patients and document treatment sheets Assist in providing clinical support to doctors and other technicians/nurses Provide restraint of patients without risk to patient, self, and others.
Abide by appropriate hospital SOPS for infection control when handling patients, providing interventions/treatments, and processing/performing diagnostic testing. Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients based on attention to detail Utilize monitoring equipment and recognize trends Assist with clinical procedures and offer direction to others. Maintain a clean and organized work environment Participates in CE for the purpose of personal development and development of a critical care mindset Foster effective communication with both internal and external clients and referring hospitals.
