Assembles equipment and supplies for various diagnostic or treatment procedures in the specialty service area; performs or assists others with procedures or treatments. Adheres to required infection control, isolation procedures, and aseptic

techniques in the deliver of patient care. Documents nursing care in all assigned patient records.

Adheres to internal controls and reporting structures. Performs related duties as required. EQUIPMENT: Standard patient care supplies, equipment and mechanical devices. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Located within the confines of a prison, jail or juvenile detention center. Security clearance is required; pre-employment drug testing is also required. REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school or equivalent. Graduation from a Licensed Vocational Nurse Program and current license/permit as a vocational nurse in the State of Texas. No experience required. Current BLS-HP required.

Job Responsibilities Performs on-the-job training in a variety of nursing care functions, such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs and examining individuals in custody utilizing nursing backssment skills and techniques. Receives formal training on how to backss patient progress. Receives hands-on training in proper procedures to set up, operate and monitor special equipment, such as respirators, and suction devices, AED, oxygen. Receives extensive on-the-job training in: Maintaining security of medical

equipment and supplies. Conducting surveillance of medical unit surroundings and individuals in custody for possession of contraband and illegal drugs.

Preparing reports on infractions of the facility's security rules and regulations. Receives comprehensive training on procedures used to inspect food services areas and individual in custody housing units for safety and sanitation, conducts Restrictive Housing evaluations, and documents completion and findings of inspections and evaluations. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above. Minimum Qualifications Requires graduation from an approved nursing education program resulting in an associate or diploma degree in nursing or a bachelor's degree in nursing.

Requires licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Illinois. Preferred Qualifications (In Order of Significance) Prefers at least one (1) year of nursing experience in a correctional setting. Prefers at least one (1) year of experience working in mental health. Prefers at least one (1) year of experience problem solving in a nursing position. You will work in partnership with relationship bankers, treasury services, trading, and other product partners to analyze, structure, risk grade, document,

and approve credit exposures resulting from loans and other commercial banking products. You will be an instrumental member of the Risk Management team that will drive deal documentation negotiations / execution and is also responsible for the on-going monitoring and risk management of an assigned portfolio of credits.
