Perform the following activities as part of software development: system resource evaluation; software requirements evaluation; design evaluation; software definition, code, and unit test; integration test; software delivery and independent test; software quality assurance; and software configuration monitoring.
Conduct reviews of Contract Data Requirements List products. Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews evaluating work products to Government standards. Participate in all software life-cycle reviews from requirements analysis, preliminary design, detailed design, integration, and test. Review and comment on
proposed system requirements, based on Government provided information. Verify the system requirements meet the stated program objectives. Support program reviews and periodic program status meetings.
Support the Engineering Change Process. Support Statement of Work development. Support technical evaluations of Request for Proposal. Make recommendations regarding human systems engineering. Qualifications Required: BS or BA degree in a Technical Discipline. Must have at least ten (10) years of experience in Software/Systems Engineering supporting Do D aircraft systems, Do D weapons systems, Do D mission systems or Do D support systems, consisting of the design, development, integration,
and system testing of computer hardware and software. Must possess strong communication (written/oral) and presentation skills as well as critical thinking and reasoning skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Security clearance. Must have the ability for occasional travel. Desired Experience: Experience with Do D-STD-2167A/MIL-STD-498/IEEE 12207 Experience with Systems Software, Systems-of-Systems Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering, or Systems Safety & Reliability.
