Position will cover CNC programming of multiple machine configurations including: Lathes, Mills (both vertical and horizontal). Duties to include implementing process improvements and best practices

Duties & Responsibilities ESSENTIAL --- Create CNC programs for multiple machine configurations within Machine Shop programs based on information supplied via follower, drawing, and verbal instructions. --- Assist Machine Shop Foreman in the maintenance of process followers. --- Support machine shop with " hands on" application during prove out of CNC programs when required. --- In conjunction with the Machine Shop Foreman and the machinists, assist with tooling, jig and fixture design. --- Requisition tooling as needed for jobs prior to programming job. --- Initiate design changes as required.
--- Direct equipment modifications and improvements. --- Assist in equipment problem resolution. --- Demonstrate leadership in safety initiatives. --- Other duties as assigned. Qualifications REQUIRED Minimum five (5) years manufacturing experience with machined components required. Minimum five (5) years of experience with CAM system programming. Master CAM is desired. Experience with MS Office. DESIRED Knowledge of Solid Works, Auto CAD, People Soft.
