Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Takes orders from customer and prepares items requiring short preparation. Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations. Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service meeting outlined standards. Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items. Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service.
Responsible for records from area worked during service periods. Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with established safety standards. Stores foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating and food safety and rotation procedures. Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met. Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information and concerns to supervisor.
Attends in-service and safety meetings. Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers. Job Summary PSEG is looking for an Intern for the Gas Construction team within Gas Operations This job involves working as a technical intern for large-scale gas infrastructure capital upgrade projects The Gas Construction department is responsible for the planning and execution of large-scale capital gas infrastructure upgrade projects as part of Gas System Modernization Program, as well as other programs of work. The team is responsible for work planning, resource allocation,
municipal/county/state permitting, contractor management, mobile crew and service mechanic oversight, completion of all required documentation, etc.
The technical intern will provide support of the construction and project management day to day activities as well as learn various aspects the Gas Construction business. This position will be In-Person Job Responsibilities Assignments will include working alongside professionals in the following areas: The successful candidates will primarily aid the Construction Manager and Project Manager in the day-to-day field operations of the Gas Construction team. Tasks may include but are not limited to: Reading construction drawings Reviewing / auditing construction documentation such as layout folders, completion records, bid and dailies etc.
Analyzing construction documentation / data and preparing weekly status reports Visits to job sites Assist with process improvement through participation in team and project meetings Assist with restoration processes through support of the restoration team Coordinate resources with contractors, districts etc. Assist with the monthly forecasting process Job Specific Qualifications Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate(s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management.
