Under administrative direction, this position will support the implementation of DCFS' Continuous

Quality Improvement (CQI) processes and activities, both regionally and elsewhere in the state as needed, and for all service lines. This position will provide QA/CQI technical assistance, consultation, and support to Regional Administrators and other regional staff.

This position will be responsible for routinely evaluating both DCFS and Community-Based Partners (CBP) practice and outcomes through various data reports, dashboards, and warehouses. The position will be responsible for providing user-friendly data reports to regional DCFS and CBP leadership through established and new CQI teams in order for data-based decision-making to occur. With the provision of these data at CQI teams

on a regular basis, this position will be responsible for guiding regional DCFS and CBP staff through DCFS’ established cycle of improvement (PDSA, or Plan-Do-Study-Act) in order to move the needle on performance toward achievement of child and family outcomes.

Conducts routine analysis of regional performance for child welfare services, including child protection, intact, foster care, foster home licensing, and other regional services, which may be completed through qualitative case reviews 6. The individual must have a good understanding of construction, Ready-Mix concrete, and operations as they relate to transportation. Employee will assist with the safe utilization of trucking resources, personnel and regular reports reflecting status of the RMC delivery process. This position will also be responsible for the safe sampling and testing of ready mix concrete; including proper collection to be tested and

accurate analysis of the materials. Driving of a company vehicle will be required. Wage ranges from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour dependent on experience. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) Safely and efficiently collect samples for testing.

Ensuring the overall safety of transportation personnel and the public Have a working knowledge of state DOT and governing agency job specifications. Must be customer service oriented , both internally and externally. Must be familiar with different truck capacities and abilities. Maintain professional demeanor in stressful conditions. Works directly with RMC operations to ensure the overall safety of the transportation and delivery

of Ready- Mix concrete through constant daily monitoring and efficient methods.

Be able to inspect, analyze, and diagnose malfunctions in trucking equipment. Must have the ability to familiarize with the delivery areas as well as assist drivers. Ability to perform project test procedures relative to individual levels of certification in testing construction materials , hold ACI Field Level I Certification. Perform sampling, testing, and reporting procedures according to established protocol, having the ability to test construction material samples and recording test results in a timely and accurate manner. Promptly report non-compliant tests to batch person when applicable.

Calculate chemical adjustments and dose loads accordingly. Maintain daily record of test results , prepare daily reports, and submit results to project lead technician or main lab supervisor. Perform daily housekeeping operations and maintain a clean lab environment. Properly follow all company policies and MSHA & OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environmental best practices. Report any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager , or Human Resources Manager. Perform job tasks in accordance with industry best practices and requirements of the equipment (lifting , carrying , sitting, walking, and climbing).

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Be able and willing to work flexible hours including overtime as job needs arise. Works closely with local and global teams to recognize opportunities for improvement and drive change through monthly quality improvement meetings. Identify, classify, and report deviations and complaints as appropriate.

Works with manufacturing sites to resolve quality issues, monitor supplier corrective and preventive actions, and review CAPA effectiveness. Responsible for review of investigations and quality systems related to the disposition of specific batches. Responsible for the quality release process for finished product distribution, including visual inspection of the finished product for the US market. Support regulatory and third-party inspections. Participate in inspection readiness activities, including FDA " Mock" inspections and training. Participates in multifunctional project teams to support the introduction of new products and/or changes to current products to ensure compliance with Quality requirements.

Provides guidance and control directives regarding remediation activities required to continue business operations. Resolves critical issues within the area assigned and may escalate to senior management team based on the severity of the problem. Create/revise procedures and other documentation related to the scope of responsibility Develops solutions to routine assigned activities of moderate scope & complexity Manages temperature monitoring program for the distribution center, cold storage area, and shipment of finished products.

Ensure product is stored and transported at appropriate temperature conditions and per validated or qualified shipper. Review and approve artwork and rework instructions to ensure c GMP requirements are met. Perform trending analysis related to quality operations and generate associated reports for Quality management as required. Serves as backup for Quality Manager. Other duties may be assigned. Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills Bachelor's degree required At least seven years of related experience in Quality Assurance within a regulated environment or transferrable industry experience.
