ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Set and implement standards, procedures, processes, and quality controls to manufacture food products. Conduct regular on-site product testing and shelf stability. Coordinate and perform independent laboratory testing. Inspect food production equipment to ensure they are operational and in good working order for food processing. Set and enforce health/safety procedures and

guidelines for operation. Conduct daily safety inspections to ensure safe operations are met. Collaborate with the quality department to monitor the various aspects of food processing to ensure the final product meets set specifications.

Ensure work is performed in compliance with HACCP regulations, GMP, quality inspections, and FDA guidelines. Liaise with the sales and marketing department to develop new products from conceptualization to launch Research new cost-reducing manufacturing processes that meet customer needs and regulations. Submit recommendations to management on ways to increase product quality and revenue generation. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor MINIMUM

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Food Scientist or related field.

Prove ability to work in a laboratory for long period of time Knowledge and understanding of data science Two years of experience in food manufacturing and production, storage or handling, and quality control. Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspecting and maintaining food processing equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards. This may involve cleaning, calibration, troubleshooting, and coordinating repairs. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of test results, production data, quality control procedures, and any deviations or corrective actions taken.

Good documentation is crucial for traceability, audits, and compliance purposes. Compliance and Safety: Staying up to date with food safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices to ensure that food production processes meet legal requirements. Implementing and enforcing proper hygiene practices and safety protocols is vital to prevent foodborne illnesses and maintain consumer trust. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Education: A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as food science, food technology, food chemistry, or a related discipline is often preferred.

Some positions may require a bachelor's degree, while others may accept a diploma or certification in food technology. Knowledge of Food Safety and Regulations: Familiarity with food safety regulations, such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and relevant local or international standards is essential. Understanding food labeling requirements and compliance is also beneficial.
