Work with the design team to define product needs and translate those into potential material choices. Investigate, communicate and formalize raw material vendor relationships. Periodically present your findings to the team. Create and maintain a database and material sample library. Work with the design
team, vendors and internal departments as needed to successfully bring products through all phases of development. Support company activities where needed.
Required Skills: Demonstrative experience in critical thinking 1+ years experience buying or relevant work experience Some experience working with vendors and sources Effectively work on multiple simultaneous projects as part of a matrix product development team Be a self-starter, collaborative, and thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment.
