HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT: The Corporate Accountant II is responsible for various accounting and recordkeeping duties and in the preparation and distribution of financial statements in an accurate and timely manner. This role prepares reconciliations

for monthly general ledger close, analyses of accounts and other accounting matters, drafts memorandums and other documentation explaining Oregon Tool’s accounting treatment and various positions under US GAAP and prepares journal entries.

This position is also responsible for the preparation of management reports and internal and external financial statements as well as cash management and routine cash forecasting activities. This position is also expected to provide assistance with external and internal audit examinations, maintain accurate and complete files in compliance with control procedures, and assist with accounting related projects and other special projects assigned by management,

including internal control, process control and system and process improvement projects.

LOCATION: This position is hybrid and as such, this individual must be available to work on-site 2-3 days per week as required by job. The leadership team prefers Tuesday & Wednesday onsite for team alignment. THE DETAILS: Daily balancing and recording of cash transaction Reconcile various general ledger cash accounts and subsidiary records as assigned Assist in preparing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, and financial analysis reports in the context of annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasting Lead the global cash forecasting and planning process and ensure company’s global cash obligations are met in a cost effective manner Analyze various account balance and prepare adjusting journal entries as needed Seek to optimize use of technology to improve efficiency and reduce waste Support the preparation of required periodic financial reports for management and external financial reports Provide timely support of accounting calendar deadlines Maintain books and records in an audit-ready condition: organized, visible, clear and concise manner Support and respond to internal and external audit requests Engage in cross training to ensure appropriate backups are in place and work instructions are documented Maintain appropriate documentation to provide evidence of control effectiveness, including seeking written approval as appropriate on transactions performed Update process documentation as processes change QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Accounting or Finance required.

reporting to the Technical Accounting Manager. This position plays a critical role in collaborating with the Technical Accounting team to perform thorough accounting research on complex business issues, including documentation on the Company’s conclusions and positions.

Support the Company’s debt and equity financings. Assist with the preparation and review of the Proxy Statement. Participate as a technical resource in the external audit process. Complete internal control procedures to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Demonstrates appropriate leadership and decision-making behaviors. Maintain technical accounting knowledge and personal skill development. Lead, contribute to, or participate in ad hoc projects as required. Minimum five years of applied accounting experience. Public accounting experience is preferred. Experience using SAP or another general ledger or other financial software system is preferred.
