Education and/or Experience: Knowledge of construction practices, AISC requirements 5+ years of experience in Autodesk Auto CAD 5+ years of experience in Autodesk Inventor (or Solid Works) 5+ years of experience with structural steel detailing or storage tanks College education or Detailing certification and five years of experience
in a related field or equivalent is required. Teamwork: Teamwork is essential in this position, and the Senior Structural Steel Detailer/Drafter must have a positive attitude and be able to work effectively with all departments, managers, and staff.
Actively participate in safety meetings and promote company safety culture while working closely with the safety department. Language Skills Must communicate professionally and effectively with co-workers, other departments, and managers. Reporting This position will report directly to the Detailing Manager while working closely with the Prefabrication Manager, Operations Coordinator, QA Manager, Project Manager and Engineers.
