Conducts food safety audits to identify deviations from standards to reduce risk of contamination. Documents and follows up on root cause analysis pertaining to micro failures in the facility.
Collects data and compiles reports that reflect trends and that identify potential problems and fixes them. Leverage the use of technology to automate and manage compliance processes.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to instill a food safety culture in the organization. Requirements/Skills: Bachelor s of Science degree, preferably in microbiology or biology or similiar5+ years' in a Lab environment within a food/beverage manufacturing facility Experience managing direct reports. Experience using oral and written communication skills to propose complex solutions and explanations. Experience managing multiple projects and work streams.
