Ability to work inside and/or outside in dirty and dusty environments, and occasionally be exposed to hot, cold, damp, and drafty weather conditions while handling equipment/supplies. Able to perform work on hard or uneven surfaces. Qualifications Skills and Experience: Two years' experience inspecting and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic components on a wide variety of heavy-duty military vehicles using computerized diagnostic equipment, and repairing, cleaning, replacing defective parts of components and systems Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite Skilled in planning, controlling, executing, multi-tasking and being responsible for the successful completion of work requirements Ability to effectively read and write in English, comprehend written instructions, perform common mathematical tasks, and communicate effectively Certificate, License, Registration, etc.
Shall possess a certificate from a Vocational Technical School for vehicle or equipment mechanic, or have graduated from any Vehicle, Equipment, or Power Generation Mechanic Advanced Individual Training (AIT) e. g. 91 Series Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) or other DOD equivalent training. Valid driver's U. S.
