Qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with a strong understanding of Deaf culture. Certification or formal training in ASL interpretation (e. g. RID certification, state licensure). Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills in both
ASL and spoken English. Ability to remain neutral and impartial during interpretation. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
Flexibility to work in various environments, including remote and on-site locations. Previous experience in interpreting preferred but not mandatory.
