This position will provide leadership to the Spine Surgery Division in the Department of Orthopadic Surgery. The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery provides high-quality, advanced surgical and medical care, innovations in orthopaedic research as well as excellent training and education for the next generation of highly accomplished orthopaedic surgeons.

This program encompasses spine care provided at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center, UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, and UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center and Orthopaedic Hospital. In addition, the department also provides orthopaedic services through our affiliation with the Veterans Administration Greater Los Angeles

Healthcare System. The Division Chief of Spine Surgery must have a strong track record as an excellent leader, outstanding clinician, exceptional educator with commitment to teaching, and an experienced investigator including scholarly work in basic science, clinical or translational research.

The Division Chief of Spine Surgery must demonstrate transparency, a deep sense of professionalism, clear communication skills, commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all its forms including the provision of equitable care, an unwavering ethical compass, and strong support for interdisciplinary and inter-professional collaboration as well as institutional growth. It is the responsibility

of the Division Chief to work alongside the Department Chair to represent the Division in the areas of financial performance, faculty career development, research, education, and clinical care, while achieving local, regional and national visibility and prominence in the subspecialty.

Candidates must possess an M. D. degree or equivalent, be board certified in pediatric surgery, and be eligible for licensure in the State of California. Qualified candidates must hold an M. D. or M. D. /Ph. D. or equivalent. Candidates must have completed an accredited fellowship training in Spine Surgery. Candidates must also be eligible for appointment to the University of California and the salary will be commensurate with academic rank and experience.

Description: The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) III focuses on Scaled Agile Scrum activities, organization and kickoff of initial and monthly technical meetings and status reports, and preparation of a Program Management Plan (PMP).

They provide security planning, backssment, risk analysis, and risk management across all customer domains as specified by the contract and consistent with negotiated Service Level Agreements (SLA). They recommend system-level solutions to resolve security requirements and support the enforcement of the design and implementation of

trusted relationships among external systems and architectures, as well as design and implement security-related products on an enterprise level, then integrate products into the current environment.

They participate in the change management process, including reviewing Change Requests and assisting in backssing the security impact of proposed changes. They monitor system recovery processes to ensure security features and functions are properly restored and functioning correctly following an outage, and work on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer's production IT environment. They report to the Cyber Services Manager IV. The

ISSO III is a senior role requiring experience with Scaled Agile development methodologies, and other security-related aspects of a Program Management Plan.

The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) III supervises and mentors subordinate project and Team Man Tech staff.
