This position will provide leadership to the Spine Surgery Division in the Department of Orthopadic Surgery. The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery provides high-quality, advanced surgical and medical care, innovations in orthopaedic research as well as excellent training and education for the next generation of highly accomplished orthopaedic surgeons.
This program encompasses spine care provided at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center, UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, and UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center and Orthopaedic Hospital. In addition, the department also provides orthopaedic services through our affiliation with the Veterans Administration Greater Los Angeles
Healthcare System. The Division Chief of Spine Surgery must have a strong track record as an excellent leader, outstanding clinician, exceptional educator with commitment to teaching, and an experienced investigator including scholarly work in basic science, clinical or translational research.
