Brief Description of Duties Provide guidance for students to achieve a positive attitude and proper behavior in dormitory living situation and to accomplish their goals and objectives.
Recommend and arrange student visits to counselor. Direct dorm activities as designated including dormitory government, dormitory courts, dormitory competitions. Monitor dormitories and center as required to ensure safety and proper behavior of students; resolve potential or occurring problems. Complete performance evaluations for all assigned students and participate on career
management team panels. Assist with recreational activities for students on- and off-center. Transport students to and from recreational functions, airport, bus stations, or for supplies as required.
Prepare the morning report, pass list and other administrative correspondence relating to students. Direct students and assist in the cleanup and maintenance of the dormitory. Recommend or requisition supplies to provide needs for dorm living and safety of students. Conduct social skills training and other group sessions in accordance with the schedule; participate in and conduct activities, as assigned. Provide for the special needs of the parents and children.
