OUR FLEXIBLE HOURS This veterinary position can be either full- or part-time! You can typically expect to work 31 - 34 hours per week during the following schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM Wednesday from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM Alternating Saturday mornings from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM You have one weekday off and alternating Saturdays off.
We're very flexible with hours and will make a schedule that works for you! If it works best for you, we could accommodate for unique hours depending on the situation. Surgeries and dental procedures are generally completed in the mornings, and outpatient services are offered in the afternoons. This is a dynamic Animal Care Specialist - Veterinarian position with no two days being the same. Your responsibilities include a wide range of tasks, such as offering routine and preventative care, completing soft tissue surgery, performing dental procedures, diagnosing medical problems, and prescribing treatments. With strong dedication, you provide the best possible care to our patients. You take x-rays and perform ultrasounds when necessary while also maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for each patient.
Always proactive with patient health, you take the time to educate owners on general pet care and answer any questions they may have about providing appropriate care for their companions. We know that building relationships with our clients and their pets is crucial, and we're glad to see that you share this sentiment.
