Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Travel to assigned job sites as required; assemble, install, diagnose, and service products to meet manufacturer's specifications and company safety, quality and productivity standards. a. Inspects products and parts, repairing when necessary.
b. Carry required tools, parts and supplies required to perform each assigned job. c. Follow company travel policies and procedures. Demonstrate professional customer-service skills at all times. a. Answer any customer questions or inquires and or forward to the Service Manager. b. Arrive at the job site at the specified time. Notify the Service Managers of any delays. Use time productively and in a value-added
manner. c. Maintain uniforms and personal grooming/hygiene for a neat and clean appearance. d Manage assignments on a project basis. Review project plans with customers before beginning work and provide routine updates to keep the customer and your manager informed.
Maintain and submit accurate records and documentation in a timely manner obtaining the proper signatures. (Labor Tickets: At the end of the assignment or weekly as a minimum. Customer orders/Expenses: Daily) a. Accurately record machine specific information, i. e. serial number, gauge, customer's machine number and description of work performed. b. Accurately record start/stop times for work updating machine maintenance records.
c. Routinely and accurately, report the status of assigned jobs as required.
d. Complete all documentation in a neat and legible manner. Maintain a clean and safe work environment; properly use correct tools and PPE. a. Follow CMC and customer safety policies and procedures. Work using ergonomic principals for all tasks t to minimize strain and repetitive motion. b. Ensure safety of work area, barricade work area as required, and maintain good housekeeping practices. Report any unsafe conditions to the Service Manager and Safety Manager. Communicate in an effective, accurate, and polite manner with customers, company personnel and manager to meet company and customer standards.

Notify Service Manager of any incomplete work. b. Document any non-conformances, take photos, and submit daily status report/updates. c. Submit ECR/QAR forms for any improvements/opportunities. Document any field changes required, and notify Service Manager for any requested customer changes. Skillfully perform all related tasks to meet customer expectations and fulfill company requirements. Qualifications and Education Requirements Two-year technical degree in electrical/electronic field preferred.
Experience with carpet tufting machines preferred. Must have 2-5 years of hands-on experience in the assembly, repair or rebuilding complex electrical control cabinets, motor drives and servo controls, PLC systems, wiring to complex industrial control systems, programming of analog and digital devices and logic controllers. Must be able to travel frequently within the US and to foreign countries on extended assignments. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee frequently is required to stand, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste and smell.
