Position Your Responsibilities As an Electric Drive Software Engineer for John Deere Coffeyville Works located in Coffeyville, KS you will be an integral part of a software and controls team responsible for the development of embedded software for John Deere Electric Drivetrain products.

Your role on the team will help support embedded software development with an emphasis on utilizing plant modeling to support Model Based Software Development (MBSD) best practices. Work closely with hardware development teams to create plant models that can be used to fully understand the physics of our hardware and utilize Model Based Software Development (MBSD) to develop robust embedded control algorithms.

Implement software unit tests, Model in the Loop (MIL), and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) test plans.

Evaluation, tuning, and testing of software of products in the test lab and in the field. VISA Sponsorship is NOT Available for this position. What Skills You Need Experience with MATLAB Simulink Understanding of embedded software development Experience with C++ and other programming languages What Makes You Stand Out Experience with plant modeling software such as Amesim, Simscape, etc. Hands-on background with off-highway machinery, drivetrain, or powertrain hardware. Prepare food for Banquets, as required, following specifications of Banquet Event Orders. Prepare and service food for Associate Cafeteria as specified by the Food Production Manager. Prepare all foods following Avantic Lodging Enterprises standard recipes.

Preparation of specials will be under the direction of the Food Production Manager or Assistant Food Production Manager. Breakdown buffets and kitchen line, storing food and equipment properly at the end of each meal period. Work banquet food station as scheduled by Food Production Manager. Know the location and operation of all fire extinguishing equipment. Practice safe work habits at all times to avoid possible injury to self or other associates. Be familiar with all hotel policies and house rules. Be familiar with hotel's emergency procedures.

Use Production Charts as specified by Avantic Lodging Enterprises standards. Associates must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers and other associates.
