Serves as Provost liaison to the Faculty Senate Graduate Academic Affairs Committee. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: A terminal degree, e. g. Ph D required. Experience as a tenured faculty member, preferably at the rank of professor. Demonstrated experience and accomplishments in active and effective graduate program leadership. A demonstrated ability to work in and support a diverse and inclusive community.
A record of scholarly research accomplishments working with graduate students. Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. Ability to establish excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, including Vice Provosts, Deans’ offices, graduate program directors, and other relevant University administrative offices. Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute discretion. Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgement and to prioritize tasks.
