LCH 9 is a 24-bed pediatric medical surgical unit. We see ages ranging from newborn to 18 and care for a wide variety of diagnosis including respiratory, GI, surgical and many more. We tend to see a lot of the younger patients ages newborn to 5 years, while other floors see the older population of patients. Our unit prides ourselves on working well together

All the cardiac, nephrology, and neurosurgical children are to be admitted to this floor, along with any child that is considered progressive. Progressive care is initiated when
