Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed

in this announcement. Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.

May be required to successfully complete a probationary period. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. This position is located at a bargaining unit and eligible for union representation through Chapter 102 of the Association of Civilian Technicians. Qualifications NOTE: Qualifications are based on breadth/level of experience. In addition to describing duties performed, applicants must provide the exact dates of each period of employment (from MM/DD/YY to MM/DD/YY) and the number of hours worked per week if

Military Grades : Enlisted Member (E-1/PVT - E6/SSG) GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Experience or training that has provided knowledge of specialized handling, storing, disposal, and safety procedures related to hazardous materials. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Applicant must have at least 12 months of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the WG-06 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government.

This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the WG grade indicated. This experience must include activities such as: Experience or training of Federal, State, Do D, OSHA and EPA rules/regulations sufficient to control, oversee, coordinate and implement the facility Hazardous Materials Management Program. Experience or training of warehouse activities to include receiving, inspecting for defects, storing, selecting and shipping general or specialized equipment and supplies.

Experience in inventory and production reports to screen and identify shipping and receiving documents for discrepancies, and direct shipments to shipping or storage areas. Experience with computer commands and controls to make data entries, update data and retrieve reports. This experience must include activities such as: Experience or training receiving, storing, and issuing aviation fuels for the facility. Experience or training operating a complete bulk fuel storage and distribution system composed of storage tanks, interconnecting line and pipe arrangements, pumps, meters and gauges, etc.

in the movement of fuels between storage tanks and to refueling equipment and facilities consisting of 1200-5000 gallon tanker trucks and/or hydrant refueling equipment interconnected with the fuel farm.
