It's how we show our appreciation! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LEASING AGENT As a leasing agent, you play a key role in marketing our community and keeping it leased. You will complete lease agreements and collect application fees and security deposits. You will ensure model apartments are ready for show, and make sure office and work areas are clean and orderly. You will demonstrate thorough knowledge of lease terms, community policies, current market conditions, and telephone and sales techniques. You will be responsible for staying informed on current rental rates, sizes, locations, and property amenities.
You will " shop" competitive properties and engage in weekly marketing outreach. You will develop ongoing retention programs under direction of the Property Manager. You will play an active role in the renewal process. You will help maintain all resident and property files. You will help handle all resident requests and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner. You will always maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Finally, you will assist in collecting delinquent rents, and help with other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LEASING AGENT Required to maintain a regular schedule which may require working outside business hours, weekends and non- traditional holidays.
