Celina Core Values. Assists in the installation, maintenance and repair of City sewer utilities to include sewer pipes, sewer pumps and sewage systems an assist with water infrastructure repair as needed. Installs, removes, replaces, maintains, and repairs system components in conjunction with regulatory requirements and departmental/division guidelines.

Assists in cleaning, inspecting and repairing sewer mains, treatment facilities and lift stations. Inspects work in progress and at completion for compliance with applicable policies, procedures, plans, specifications, and standards of quality and safety. Monitors employees operating equipment to prevent damage to other utility lines

while digging. Answers emergency calls from the public and other agencies taking appropriate action such as jetting sewer services, sewer main repairs and other repairs to the wastewater system.

Completes work orders on daily work assignments and activities as required. Organizes tools, equipment and supplies necessary to complete assignments. Inspects, cleans and maintains equipment and tools in safe operating order. Maintains safety regulations including wearing appropriate clothing, erecting proper barricades and signage and using proper equipment and tools. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must demonstrate safety consciousness for self and others while driving and working. Required

to work on-call, evenings or weekends Travels to attend meetings and training Demonstrate a willingness to perform duties in a team environment.

Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Involves semi-routine standardized work with some latitude for independent judgment concerning choices of action. Regular and consistent attendance for the assigned work hours Assist other departments throughout the city as well as other internal departments in Public Works. Proficient with working as an individual or as a team member The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, or heavier weights with the use of proper equipment.

Willingness to cross train as needed for meeting departmental objectives. Performs other related duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques for common tools and equipment used in general construction and maintenance work; and their basic safety precautions and procedures. Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of power and hand tools. Knowledge of safe handling techniques of hazardous chemicals and materials. Knowledge of City policies and procedures. Skill in following oral and written communications and directions.

Skill in planning and organizing materials and supplies necessary to complete work orders or daily assignments Skill in operating assigned equipment, tools and vehicles Skill in resolving customer complaints and concerns Ability to maintain effective working relationships Ability to follow all City policies and procedures Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished by leadership team in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Daily physical labor that includes extended periods of sitting, standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, entering enclosed spaces, climbing ladders, lifting heavy equipment, digging potholes, swinging a sledgehammer, driving a dump truck, operating other equipment and other similar physically exerting activities on a daily basis.

May be exposed to moving traffic, extreme weather conditions, hazardous chemicals, fumes, heights, confined spaces, trenches, air and water borne pathogens, body fluids, infectious diseases, rodents and insects. At times, carpets may need to be shampooed. Organizing and Stocking Hotels provide various items to their guests for convenience, such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, coffee and tea supplies, and stationery. Housekeepers must know which items should be in each room

and restock them as needed. Changing Linens and Towels Housekeepers must remove soiled linens and towels from the room, replacing them with clean items. This requires putting clean sheets on all beds in the room and replacing bathroom towels with a sufficient type and quantity.

Waste Removal Removing waste from wastebaskets and ashtrays and disposing of it properly. Transport garbage containers from kitchen and work areas to dumpster; empty and clean according standards. If the waste is hazardous, requires following Occupational Health and Safety rules and regulations for disposal. Adhere to recycling regulations. Maintain Cleanliness of all Dining Utensils Responsible for making sure

all plates, glasses, bowls and silverware are perfectly cleaned between uses by using an industrial dishwasher and then hand polishing to remove leftover smudges.

Stock kitchen lines with designated cleaned wares, utensils and equipment. Clean spills in kitchen and work area immediately. Clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils and other kitchen equipment. Maintain Cleanliness of Kitchen and Storage Areas Make sure the kitchen and storage areas are kept clean at all times. This includes cleaning industrial kitchen appliances, such as stoves, grills, freezers and ovens etc. Organize and restock work areas for the next shift as specified in departmental standards.

The kitchen must meet health and safety standards at all times. Assist With Food Storage, Rotation and Preparation Responsible for food preparation. This includes things like preparing fresh salads, grilling, garnishing dishes and adding fresh salt or pepper according to customer taste. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to a satisfactory standard.
