Job Description Links Solutions is seeking a Computer System Analyst III to join our team in Charleston, SC at the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) in support of the National Science Foundation. The Computer System Analyst III will provide cyber services and solutions, technical support, and management support for NIWC Atlantic Polar Programs (NPP).

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Computer Systems Analyst III who will be responsible for day-to-day cybersecurity operations, maintenance, and support of computer systems and networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure the reliability and security of IT infrastructure. Job Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, server hardware, and software applications. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot

issues proactively. Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.

Implement and enforce network security measures. Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues. Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets and user-reported problems. Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability. Test and verify backups regularly. Implement and enforce security policies and procedures. Perform regular security audits and updates to mitigate vulnerabilities. Coordinate and apply software updates and patches to servers and workstations. Ensure that systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Develop and update IT infrastructure documentation. Monitor system resources and plan for capacity expansion as needed. Qualifications US Citizen Public Trust (T1) or have the ability to obtain. IAT Level II Certification (Comp TIA Security+ CE equivalent or higher).

Five (5) years of Computerized System experience, including design, development, test and evaluation, network protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows-based operating system knowledge. Experience troubleshooting computer issues. Experience implementing security measures and monitoring systems for potential threats. Knowledge of network protocols and services. Understanding of cybersecurity best practices. Preferred: Public Trust (T1) Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) with COR approval complete a vendor/platform-specific certification: Certified Information Systems Security Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Accurate and precise attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills. Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management. Develop functional design and technical specifications, concept diagrams, and workflow diagrams and related procedures to process data using appropriate systems environment/platform. Document programs/procedures. Work Environment: Customer-focused, project-oriented programming environment. To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need Required Education: Bachelor's degree in a job-related field OR 4 years job related work experience OR Associate's degree and 2 years job-related work experience Required Work Experience: 4 years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience.

Required Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of applications/development, quality assurance and integration methodologies, concepts and facilities in a mainframe, midrange, web, and/or PC/LAN environment. Strong analysis, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates logical abstract thinking and assimilating/adhering to project goals and deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Able to work well under pressure and as part of a team. Strong knowledge of interpersonal skills/team building. Familiar with project management concepts. Pays attention to detail. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, vendors etc. Required Software and Other Tools: Strong knowledge of relevant operating systems, programming languages, and development tools and their usage in the company.
