Oversee receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments (incoming and outgoing). Communicate with customers to answer shipping and receiving
questions and troubleshoot problems. Responsible for monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy Ensure inventory and storage areas and working spaces are clean and maintained.
Monitor warehouse associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery. Resolve issues and build relationships with freight accounts and negotiate rates when applicable. Assign workloads and daily tasks to warehouse associates. Assist the Director with data and information needed for monthly reports.
