We are currently hiring for a Warehouse Associate at our Chambersburg location! Our Logistics Team is vital to creating the level of high-quality customer service we strive to attain.
This position is imperative to the success of our production and delivery teams. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and is anticipated to work M-F, 7am-3pm with some flexibility to help on other shifts (i. e in early or stay past 3pm) as requested by management. Duties include but are not limited to: Safely operate a forklift and or pallet jack Move and stage inventory
Coordinate shuttle between plants Tape and build boxes Build, break down, or shrink-wrap pallets of ice cream, re-palletize, etc. Move pallets and other items with a forklift Ensure paperwork is turned in to the appropriate party Maintain cleanliness and the organization of the warehouse area Other duties as assigned The right person has: A High School Diploma or equivalent The motivation to work in a team environment - safely A detail-oriented mindset Work is performed in refrigerated and otherwise temperature-controlled; you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while working safely and efficiently.
This position involves regular lifting of roughly 40lbs from ground level
to waist high using proper lifting techniques. Bending and other physical tasks are required.
