What the Role Involves: As a Refrigeration Trainer, you'll be responsible for leading and facilitating all processes and programs related to refrigeration education.

In addition, the trainer will assist with curriculum development and implementation strategies. Lead and conduct both lecture and hands-on learning activities for employees. Collaborate with Construction and Service Managers to develop curriculum processes. Collaborate with team members on course delivery planning and resource allocation; as well as managing inventory of learning assets, i. e. demo units. Partner with community colleges, school districts and other organizations to support educational activities and outreach. Basic Qualifications: 8+ years in the supermarket refrigeration industry 4+ years of CO2 knowledge 2+ years of training experience The Ideal Candidate: Strong working knowledge of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Familiarity with learning management software and instructional design software Familiarity with Hillphoenix product lines.

Monitors the Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan effectiveness and conformance with SQF system requirements Identifies, investigates and/or determines whether out-of-compliance finished product should be placed on hold. Coordinates disposition and/or rework with leadership approval. Monitors raw materials storage area locations and complete shift tailings. Notifies appropriate personnel with any abnormal findings. Monitors metal detection validation & verification. Audits allergen maintenance repair sheets and operator forms.

Conducts pre-op inspections of processing, packaging and mixing equipment after product changeovers and/or prior to weekly production start-up as a cross-functional team. Performs plant sanitation verifications to ensure allergen free and equipment is clean. If applicable may participate in Kleanz or respective program. Mandatory overtime is required. Work closely with Dogtown Lifesaving Specialist and Leadership team to understand the needs of the animals in our care, as well as those of the department. Promote, coordinate, and facilitate mobile, remote, and on-site pet adoptions, providing superior customer service, new pet parent counseling, and post-adoption support throughout. Develop a general knowledge of the animals in the Best Friends' care; deliver superior customer service, assist adopters, fosters, and transfer partners by gathering information to match them

with appropriate animals, arranging introductions, pet to pet meets; acquiring/providing medical records, health certificates (when necessary), follow-ups as needed or required.

Work collaboratively with Best Friends' team members in all areas of operations to achieve lifesaving goals; follow Best Friends policies, procedures, and task lists for daily lifesaving outcome assignments, including accurate and timely communications, work completion, data entry, and record keeping. Maintain a safe workplace, value, and model safe work practices, adhere to organizational safety practices and rules, and communicate to leadership about unsafe practices and conditions.

Skills and Experience: Candidate should have familiarity and comfort with a conversational adoption process. Previous experience with facilitating adoptions is a plus. Prior experience working with the public, preferred in an animal welfare environment. Ability to work with, leash, kennel, walk, and handle dogs, including those with health and/or behavior conditions/concerns; basic ability to identify and speak to medical and behavioral characteristics of dogs and cats. Bilingual or multi-lingual skills preferred but not required. Customer-centric, non-judgmental approach to engaging with adopters, partners, visitors, volunteers, and colleagues.

Strong interpersonal skills, a team player, personable, professional, and able to get along with people from different backgrounds, as well as the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Abilityto work in a fast-paced environment withwell-developedorganization skillsto juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
