Banker (SAFE) role. The following job profile is intended to provide a general sense of what Senior Branch Premier Bankers do; however, the day-to-day duties and responsibilities will differ from branch to branch and even banker to banker depending on several variables, including (but not limited to) years of experience, complement of clients serviced, banking services and options of various clients, and client needs.

In this role you will: Employees who are not fully licensed at the time of hire will participate in the Branch Banking Licensed Banker licensing program as a Senior Branch Premier Banker LP (SAFE). This is a temporary position until employee has successfully completed licensing

requirements. Upon successful completion, employees will transition to the Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) role and perform the following duties: Proactively acquire new affluent consumer and small business customers, and deepen existing relationships, through outreach and pre-planned appointments Review and analyze moderately complex costumer concerns for possible resolution though discretionary application of applicable resolution protocols Escalate banking related issues or business risks that require an in-depth evaluation Advise customers on various aspects of recommended and available financial options and services Maintain deep knowledge and understanding of Wells Fargo's banking,

credit and investment financial solutions and services Identify client needs and goals for business, mortgage, retirement, and investment services, then partner closely with peers in Business Banking Advisory Services, Mortgage and Wealth and Investment Management to best meet the previously identified needs and goals, consistent with clients' overall financial circumstances and goals Understand and manage risks in the business by adhering to policies, procedures and controls and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations Collect information directly from customers regarding income, assets, investments, and credit; analyze information to develop customized plans identifying Wells Fargo's banking options and services that will best meet customers' financial needs and goals Build relationships with branch colleagues, affluent customers, and partners to acquire, deepen, and retain relationships, and to also help customers succeed financially Exercise independent judgement and discretion in managing client relationships through regular meetings to review financial condition and goals, provide advice regarding banking services and options to meet changing circumstances Be an active member of the branch team, including providing guidance to other branch employees on developing relationships and managing moderately complex to complex client needs May study and test for additional licenses (Series 7 and Series 66) once the minimum licensing requirements are met This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction.

As such, this position requires compliance with the SAFE. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results.

Accurately and efficiently completes customer transactions. Responsible for following and adhering to all bank operational and security policies and procedures including compliance and privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by their supervisor and/or Trustco Bank's Board of Directors: Assists customers with all cash and non- cash related transactions and services. This includes but is not limited to: check cashing, processing

Completes required reports such as the unrecovered difference report, open/close log report, etc. and will maintain records and logs for audit purposes. Banker FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary Grade: NE13 ($20.00 - $23.50 per hour) Supervisory Responsibility: Yes SUMMARY: The Universal Banker supports the Senior Universal Banker by overseeing the efficient operation of the branch to ensure all operational functions are completely and properly performed by the staff while conveying a feeling of trust, service, security and satisfaction to customers and staff.

The duties of the Universal Banker are contingent on the scope of the services that are offered at the facility. The Universal Banker must have a familiarity with IRA services and personal banking products and services. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other

duties may be assigned by supervisor and/or Trustco Bank's Board of Directors. Responsible for all in branch customer service requests. Responsible for opening a till in the absences of the Associate Banker.

Will float between assigned branches to assist with scheduling needs. Manages the branch and supervises the Associate Banker in the absence of Senior Universal Banker. Builds and promotes branch identity, drives sales and promotes overall ownership and accountability for improving customer service and branch success. Provides above standard customer service through personal contact with customers and prospects in adherence with company policy. Handles customer issues in person or

over the phone and will follow up with a resolution to the issue.

Reviews and approves requests such as large check cashing requests, authorizing bank checks or general ledger tickets, and the approval of various reports, paperwork and cash counts. Works to meet existing branch performance standards in areas such as operating control loss, Associate Banker's level of experience, bank secrecy, and compliance with established policies and procedures. Continues to build proficiency of banking principles and sales techniques by attending internal training, external training, and completion of continuing education courses. REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent education or experience.

Supervisory experience. Customer service experience. Cash handling experience. Effective verbal communication skills. Well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to work well in small groups. PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree. Previous banking experience. POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS: This is a full time position. Work hours are scheduled around the following branch hours: Monday 9:00am - 5:00pm Tuesday 9:00am - 5:00pm Wednesday 9:00am - 5:00pm Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm Saturday 9:00am - 12:00pm Sunday Closed Employees will be scheduled to arrive half an hour prior to the opening of the branch and work fifteen to thirty minutes following the closing of the branch.

Hours may vary by branch. TRAVEL: Travel using personal vehicle, occasional overnight travel. Valid driver's license required. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace; bilingualskills a plus. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information, including but not limited to company policies and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
